Daily outing dedicated to the fallow deer in the Ticino Valley Natural Park
In October, in the areas surrounding the Ticino Valley Natural Park, towards the hills of the Novara countryside, ancient and deep sounds resonate through the forest.
These are the male fallow deer who, through rutting calls, ritualized displays, and clashes, bring to life one of the most evocative natural spectacles of Italian woods: the fallow deer rut.
The area where the outing will take place is known as a true natural arena that every year attracts countless specimens ready to compete for females and territory.
The activity will take place from dawn until late afternoon, with flexible and adjustable times according to the needs and wishes of the participants.
The evening before the outing, an online meeting will be held during which the day’s program will be presented. Technical principles of wildlife photography, ethological and ecological knowledge about the fallow deer, and topics related to ethics and respect for wildlife will also be covered.
The Monday following the experience, a video call will be held dedicated to reviewing the shots taken and a guided post-production session.
