Explorations in Masai Mara, Lake Nakuru National Park, and Lake Naivasha
A wild safari: the African safari as you have always dreamed of it.
If you also dream of seeing the lion, exploring the wildest corners of the savannah, and experiencing nature in all its power, pack your backpack and camera: Kenya and its wonders await you.
Six days of adventure, 4 safaris, 3 locations, 2 treks, and 1 boat trip. This is what awaits you in this unique experience.
WE START FROM THE IMMENSE PLAIN OF THE MASAI MARA NATIONAL RESERVE, HOME OF THE BIG FIVE.
Two days of pure adventure between muddy roads and boundless landscapes, up to the banks of the Mara River, where a ranger will guide us to discover the secrets of two icons of African rivers: the primordial and cunning Nile crocodile and the fascinating and territorial hippopotamus.
LEAVING THE MASAI MARA NATIONAL RESERVE, WE WILL HEAD TOWARDS LAKE NAKURU NATIONAL PARK.
This park is home to an incredible variety of birdlife: from the majestic pelican to herons, from flamingos to the fish eagle, up to the raptor eagle. The real protagonists, however, are the southern white rhinos, an endangered species of inestimable charm. In the park, you can also observe one of the most curious behaviors of African lions: the rare tendency to climb trees, an adaptation for cooling, territory control, and protection from insects.
AFTER EXPLORING LAKE NAKURU, WE WILL MOVE TO LAKE NAIVASHA, WHERE A BOAT SAFARI DEDICATED TO BIRDWATCHING WILL AWAIT US.
Here you can observe numerous species, including the pied kingfisher, giant kingfisher, herons, ibis and, above all, the African fish eagle, a true symbol of the region’s fauna.
SUBSEQUENTLY WE WILL VISIT CRESCENT ISLAND
where a ranger will guide us on a short walk among wildebeest, zebras, giraffes, buffaloes, and antelopes.
BACK IN NAIROBI
we will have time to reflect, review the photos, and share the emotions of the adventure just experienced, before the return flight to Italy.
Here the phenomenon called βmal dβAfricaβ will inevitably begin.
Participants: the trip is suitable for people between 18 and 65 years old (minors must be accompanied), without serious health problems or pathologies that could compromise safety during the trip. The experience is open to photographers and those who love to observe.
